Aydan Fırtına is an Associate in the Corporate/M&A and Banking & Finance teams, bringing extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, project finance, corporate law, and both commercial and investment arbitration. She has a particular focus on sectors such as energy, infrastructure, construction, and natural resources, where she has developed a deep understanding of the regulatory, financial, and operational challenges specific to these industries.

Throughout her career, Aydan has been actively involved in a wide range of high-profile financings, M&A transactions, and arbitration proceedings, working closely with both domestic and international clients. She has a strong background in corporate governance and has provided comprehensive legal services on an ongoing basis to numerous companies across diverse sectors advising clients on best practices and compliance matters and ensuring that companies meet their legal obligations while achieving their business objectives. Aydan’s expertise extends to handling complex due diligence processes, managing corporate post-closing work, and advising on the structuring and negotiation of corporate deals to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Aydan served as in-house legal counsel for an international power company, where she played a pivotal role in overseeing and executing a variety of corporate transactions. This in-house experience provided her with a unique perspective on the practical and strategic aspects of corporate law, enabling her to offer tailored legal advice that aligned with her clients’ business needs.

Aydan also worked as an associate at top-tier law firms for over six years and it was in one of these that Legal 500 recognised her as a “key name within the Energy team”.
