Duygu Öztürk is a Counsel in the Banking & Finance and Corporate/M&A teams. Her practice mainly concentrates on project finance, public private partnerships (PPPs), privatisations as well as M&As in highly regulated sectors, involving transportation infrastructure (airports), energy and financial services in particular.
In this context, she has broad experience of banking and finance and project finance projects, project development, restructuring and refinancing. Before joining Lexist, Duygu worked in the projects/project finance department of a tier 1 Turkish law firm and in an international law firm in Turkey. Duygu also worked as an in-house legal counsel in one of the mega infrastructure projects in Turkey.
As an experienced lawyer Duygu can advise her clients on any stage of a transaction, whether the client is the local or international employer, contractor, lender, borrower, sponsor or regulator. She drafts and negotiates all forms of agreements from facility agreements, security agreements, implementation agreements, debt assumption agreements to operation and maintenance agreements, engineering and construction agreements. On the corporate side she has played senior roles in restructuring projects, corporate governance solutions and capital market transactions.
Duygu has had the opportunity to advise on a significant number of landmark projects, solving complex project-related and transactional issues.
